Prom at Carlton Hotel
YJC Prom Night 2013, theme black & white (not like anybody followed), on the 4th of december, 2013.
started at 7.00PM, Empress Ballroom 4 & 5.
ok i copied all these from the prom ticket that i was holding just now.
even my sec four prom ticket quality was better can. lol.
anyway, started preparing for prom at 4.30PM. intended to give myself 1h 30mins to prepare, but i wasted half the time away whatsapping Xingyee, and chatting with Peng. mehhh.
end up i was hard-pressed for time and didn't put mascara. anyway it turned out fine, guess i didn't need at all.
eye makeup was overall fine but i drew my silver eyelights a lil too over ackk.
but whatever la at least from far i look pretty fine !
wore a tube bra, then my dress and finally my heels. actually it's meimei's heels. wore them so i didn't have to spend time buying prom heels since we are of the same feet size anyway.
went down to the side gate in all my prom get-up and tried to pretend i wasn't affected by the stares given to me by the residents who were at the playground area.
ahhhhh pretty embarrassing cause i looked like some bimbo like that, dress until so fancy all these. had a hard time walking in the heels also.
Jas's daddy drove his taxi and picked me up after like 5mins.
i kinda felt nice when Jas and Athie complimented me and said that i looked very pretty (and sexy LOL) :D
hehehe. received quite a few compliments which i did not get during sec four prom.
didn't even know that i could actually look pretty or hot. cause normally i'm like just any ordinary girl on the street.
there was a slight jam when Uncle was driving us there. then one of the girls said that some rich tycoon bought over the Singapore Flyer as a present to his wife. that was why it no longer lighted up at night anymore.
when we reached Carlton we saw quite a few schoolmates that were formally dressed, such as Zhong Sheng. woah that got me pretty excited to see what everybody was wearing.
went into the lobby with the girls and then i spotted Xinping ! omgosh her white gown damn pretty can. the toga was really body-hugging and showcased her nice figure quite well.
we went to the toilet and just nice met Aizan. hahaha and with Jas there, that called for toilet pictures ! hahaha we took quite a few. such a crazy bunch of girls.
Athie helped me to touch up on my make up, especially my silver liner.
we then (finally) exited the toilet and then we saw June ! woah, the height of her heels really beat us all. it was like 5.5 inches ?? mine's only 4.5 inches. and i already had a hard time walking around in it.
took a photo with Wei Hao, Jiaxuan and Jeremy. Jiaxuan's dress was simple but pretty elegant ! so nice. then she asked me about Peng hahahaha. i didn't even know news could travel so fast. Jeremy said that we looked like siblings when i stood next to him. hehe. he feels so much like my big brother sometimes la :')
we then started taking group photos, waiting for the rest to arrive. and then Shan arrived with three handsome looking guys (Thura, Shun Rong and Peng lol). woah, the entrance was pretty grand then !
Thura went for a crew cut i think ? he had two bald stripes shaved at the side of his head. wahseh, he looked damn cool. when Shun Rong was walking over, i think Huaitian called him Naruto hahahahaha. with his blonde hair and black tux.
Peng just looked handsome la. hahaha. the way he walked, and carried his tux jacket... hahaha. My boyfriend, yeap that's him hehe.
went with Shan to the toilet to help her adjust her dress. She kept holding it up using her hand at the chest area, which was pretty attention-grabbing lol.
went back out, took a few more pictures and gossiped bout other people's outfit lol.
saw a schoolmate wearing suspenders and long pants. woah, now that's something new.
went up to level 2 and i started sweating. cause there was too many people and we had to queue up as well for the registration.
the whole registration was a mess, i think the SLs could have done it better.
went inside the ballroom to another mess. apparently, schoolmates from 202 occupied our table by mistake. they already drank the drinks on that table already. and they refused to vacate the table. i think Aizan almost flared up when talking to them bout the table issue. cause our class were supposed to sit together at two adjacent tables. end up we were sort of separated and were sitting at the table behind our first table instead. other schoolmates like Ian, Jiechern and Rhuen Chuet sat at our table with us, together with Lao Da, Xingyee, Jiahui, Joey and June.
then Peng told me he had a slight headache, partly because of the loud music that was blasting from a nearby speaker that was directly facing us.
got a lil worried, wanted to help him massage his temples but i think it would be too over. after all schoolmates are all around us.
we went to the toilet halfway and i grabbed his arm when walking out. i did that cause he told me to hold tighter (lol) and my feet really hurts like the devil.
Ms Tneo actually followed us out of the ballroom and told us to watch ourselves. lol what the heck. she said this is still a school function, and we can be "lovey dovey" after it ends and she wouldn't care. errr ok can lol.
ate our grand dinner and proceeded to take pictures after that. i almost died sia. the heels were killing me, no kidding.
walked round the ballroom with Jas, to find people to take pictures with. Managed to get one with the Prom Queen, Esther ! hahaha.
took one with Ruijie, Cassandra (swag). actually i was more busy helping Jas take photos cause, y'know, her social circle's very big.
we got chased out by Ms Mak after that cause they had to make sure we were out of the ballroom.
went out, found a seat, sat down and took off my heels. buay tahan already, all the pressure's on my toes. felt like they could break anytime.
wore Tian's court shoes instead cause she took hers off. hahaha. and then i went to take a photo with TK with my short height lol.
walked around with Jas and was caught by Huz to take a photo. omg he smelled damn nice sia hahahahah i'm pretty sure i stinked after sweating.
took a photo with Huiqi and Kaiyun as well. Chongfu classmates !
after that we took a class photo. missing Aizan and Athie cause they went back early.
after that we went down to the main lobby to continue talking. and then Peng carried me with the christmas tree as our background.
ok i really felt very burdened cause i am damn fat and heavy ! somemore after the dinner i confirm put on weight with the food inside me.
he started trembling after a while when carrying me CAUSE I WAS TOO HEAVY OMG.
i wanted to jump into a hole then.
we then decided to go clubbing. cause the club that Lao Da wanted to go had a Ladies Night. females get to walk in free ! damn badass. i also don't know why i suddenly felt so wild but i just felt adventurous. like YOLO y'know.
so we cabbed there, and passed by Grand Copthorne hotel. apparently a JC had a prom there too and i think it was PJC. when walking to the club, Lu Yu came to find Peng and he greeted me. was kinda surprised that he knew my name. went to ZoukOut, wahseh a lot of people outside there smoking and talking.
situation was damn messy can. we finally got to go in and we kept being pushed my others and the bouncers inside. we then went inside and waited for the rest, and i finally got to take off my heels.
Lao Da, Peng, Arham and Linh went to put our clutches in the lockers and when they came back, we went to the bar. Linh gave Thura a tequila shot and talk him how to drink it. wahseh, experienced sia.
first, you have to lick the rim of the shot glass (there's salt there).
then, oneshot down the tequila.
afterwards, put the lemon slice into the mouth and drink the juice.
learnt something new sia hahaha.
Linh then passed us glassed of whiskey-coke mixtures. shared a glass with Tian. my god, it was pretty good. could taste the sweetness of whiskey and coke. but i regretted drinking so much cause i actually puked when i was following the masses and got high on the dance floor.
initially was going fine and it was kinda fun. much music was played and i just followed the crowd. after a long while of dancing, getting high and sweating, suddenly its like everything got muted. my body was still fine, but the loud music suddenly became near muted and muffled.
then i started getting dizzy, and i tole Peng that i felt sick. he started getting worried, and tried pulling me through the crowd. by then, i started swaying and stomach felt queasy. Xingyee and Tian followed me behind. i stopped twice and squatted down, pressing my hand to my mouth to prevent the puking feeling from overcoming me.
it eventually overtook me :( and it came up and its in my mouth. it was a damn unpleasant feeling i swear. ran to the toilet and purged everything out. felt much better after that.
rinsed my mouth many many times but the acid feeling could still be felt on my teeth. ewwwww.
i felt pretty embarrassed though, being so weak in front of Peng and my friends.
thinking back, i looked like some drunk hag sia ;(
sigh. we walked to Holiday Inn's convenience store to buy bottled water. damn the cold water felt good. got chased out by the guards in Holiday Inn cause we can't be there if we are not the guests there. tsk. by then me and Xingyee have already taken out our heels and were walking barefoot cause our heels made our feet simply hurt too much.
we then walked back Grand Copthorne and sat at the fountain structure outside the hotel.
Peng and Tian went back inside the club to retrieve our clutches and stuff.
they took damn long sia don't know doing what inside.
while waiting we watched lots of drama unfold. many drunk people were supported by their friends out of the club. and then, there's this white shirt guy who was really drunk and anyhow shouted at two random guys, wanting to beat them up. he was like screaming and shouting, and his friend was trying to control them. he kept pushing his friend away. i think he broke up with his girlfr. (well that's what i hypothesise heh.)
i missed out when he kicked his friend in the stomach. haiya i wanted to see sia !
finally they came out and by then, i was in deep shit cause it was already 2plus and i wasn't home yet.
meimei was whatsapping me, telling me that daddy and mummy are angry. and she started like lecturing me. almost as if i'm the younger wild sister and she's the older sensible sister.
Peng held my clutch and passed it to me first. then Lu Yu walked out with his girlfriend Charmaine and i had to wear my heels to take a group photo with them. Charmaine greeted me and introduced herself. i was a lil too shy and couldn't really greet her properly. but she's real friendly (and thin sia omgosh so envious).
asked Peng afterwards why he suddenly wanted to take a group photo. then he said cause he and Lu Yu are brothers, and now that they have a girlfr they should take a picture.
Lu Yu and Charmaine's love story is like ours hehe. he first got to know her through PW also, and fell for her during that period. just that the confession part was different from ours. he confessed through wa lol. for Peng he wanted to do a proper confession, though on wa we did talk about our feelings for each other.
haha. anyway, i cabbed back with Shan. ended up she stayed over at my house lol cause she didn't have the keys back home. and she thought her mummy slept already. so yeah, she bathed here and i loaned her my big sized SJ tee and oversized pants. so after our bath we chatted, and Shan confided in me some stuff. and i listened. and laughed cause she always articulate in a funny way hahaha.
we ended up sleeping at about 6:00AM. Shan slept at about 5.30AM. was still texting Peng when the lights were off but after that i was too tired i guess, i fell asleep.
this morning i sent Shan off at the bus stop and i just sat there and put all the prom photos into collages using PicCollage.
total 6 collages, 7 photos on insta, with the last one being my own prom ootd hehe. photo credits to Peng.
the photo where it was a collage with me and Peng got the most likes hehe. its the photo out of all my photos with the most likes actually. yay. am actually pretty happy that many people are supportive of our relationship. and they said that we look cute together hehe !
when we entered the ballroom during prom night, Mr Wong actually called Peng over and asked him, eh you asked her (me) already ?
wah i didn't even know that people knew that we weren't official yet.
anyway, later Thura's flying off. back tmr Myanmar :( and i'm never gonna see him again, except maybe during results day cause he's no longer studying in singapore. apparently his parents already enrolled him in some university in Melbourne. i'm so gonna miss him, really.
his sense of humour, those puns that are such a stroke of genius sometimes. cause they're super creative.
probably after i conclude this entry i'm gonna write him a card. and give him before he flies off later.
ok well i was intending this to be entry bout prom but it turned out to be damn long ooops. better get started on writing the card to Thura. i intend to write a full A4 letter ! with that, goodnight lovelies :)
02/12/13 ♥♥♥
currently having a conference call with Jas and Shan and i don't know laugh how many times already hahahahahaha. omgosh both of them are too funny.
when i think back bout JC life i'm definitely gonna miss them. and will of course think of them.
anyway yesterday was a lovely day.
met Peng at amkhub while i was shopping for accessories. we had a long phonecall the night before and talked about it. he promised to make me very very happy today. which was yesterday. and he did hehe ♥
after i bought my accessories (a bling-bling bracelet hehe), we went to the park beside amkhub again. he said he wanted to walk walk first before we go grocery shopping (he intended to cook lunch for me but after that he didn't lol)
we sat down at a bench and just started talking, at times just silently giving each other a hug. things were pretty peaceful and no words were needed.
we then went to the open area and then he started the confession. lol, i didn't even realise that it was a confession until i noticed that he seemed to be wanting to say a lot and he wasn't letting me go.
so i just looked into his eyes... and laughed. ooops.
ok, the confession was really sweet ! but it was a lil cliche hahahaha. that's why i couldn't help but keep laughing. but i heard out what he wanted to say and it made me rather happy, really. hehe.
and then he whipped out a ladybird !
omgosh it was so cute. it was actually a ring box, and it contained the couple rings he bought the day before. the ones he asked me which i liked and i picked that.
we put in on each other and it felt really romantic but a lil dramatic hahaha. but i liked it.
the ring size was a bit too tight so we have to bring it back to Couple Lab to maybe change the size and engrave the names.
apparently he initially wanted to confess on the first of december, cause it was exactly one month since we first held hands. and he misunderstood that i went to ahmah's house and he actually went to yishun. but i wasn't there cause i was at toa payoh. then after that he cycled to my house and wandered there for a while waiting for me to reply so that he could ask me to come down.
but i was a lil angry at that time and didn't reply his message and then he left :(
sigh, all these miscommunication and pettyness.
caused him to waste his time.
but anyway, anniversary on 02/12/13 seems like a pretty good date cause i like even numbers yay ! and 02/12 is easy to remember. hehe.
and that ends what i wanted to say about this.
i am really thankful that we didn't let all those chances just pass us by and finally we're together.
and even more thankful to the friends who helped in bringing us together, Jas and Shan. we're both really proud people (well we're Leos) and had a hard time being bold enough to approach each other. without them we might not have been together now also. so yeap, thankyou Jas and Shan♥♥♥ thankyou for helping me in my first relationship yay !
things aside, tmr's prom ! ok, actually i don't feel as excited cause i don't have the feeling yet.
tried putting makeup just now before i showered and i think i look pretty fine.
my only hope is i don't become a fashion terrorist can already.
hitching a ride in Jas's daddy's taxi together with Mel. can't wait !
sec 4 prom was a lil failed cause i went to take the mrt in my prom dress and all to school just to take the provided shuttle bus to the venue.
that was an experience that i never wanna have anymore.
kinda excited to be going there together with friends !
i hope it will be a fun one. my last official gathering with classmates and cohort ♥
i guess my next entry would likely be bout prom ! till then ;)
Second day of December 2013
second day of the last month already, why is time flying so fast ;(
nothing much today, did housework and finally cleaned up my room. or rather, i arranged my stuff nicely so that it looked at least presentable enough.
anyway, bout yesterday's Oriental Melodies 2013. it was damn cool lorh. there were many arts performances which sadly i couldn't catch cause i was supposed to be at the receptionist.
but i heard it from the television that was at the receptionist counter and i gotta say it was pretty awesome.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong came as the guest of honour omg. i finally saw him in real life after 18 years ! but Shan was more excited than me lor hahaha she didn't want to go to the toilet initially cause she was afraid that she'll miss him walking into the auditorium lol.
before it started, a police group came and set up those gantries whereby people have to walk through it and the structures would identify if anybody carried any unauthorised weapons into the auditorium. damn cool.
we had lunch at Koufu and ate chicken rice. yumz.
Jas told me that the aglio olio there was super nice. omg i want :'(
anyway we were in charge of tearing the ticket stubs and holding those tickets that the performers reserved for their family and friends.
met lots of new people, including this guy called Tan Song Koi. apparently this person is Ms Tan's friend, and he was the one who introduced her to her current boyfriend.
he's a super glib talker. could see that he was flirting with anyone that was female.
Jas was worried that Shan would fall for his charms cause he's pretty humorous. and somehow his geek spectacles made him have some sort of a Shun Rong vibe lol.
he's damn bhb. he said that we can call him Andy, just like Andy Lau. he said every morning when he looks into the mirror he would think to himself, wah, why does this person look so much like Andy Lau. and then he would realise that, oh, its himself ! -.- ok can.
he keep offering me his Pringles. rejected him again and again cause i was trying to eat clean (for once) but he was pretty insistent. and he kept saying to give him face leh, etc.
really didn't want it but i ate one anyway just so he would stop bothering me with chips.
Jas's mummy damn funny lor. the way she speak and articulate. hahahaha i don't know laugh how many times when i'm around her mummy.
she brought out some fruit tarts for us and omg, they're so damn delicious can. from prima deli. yumz.
the lil pastries was so damn cute. but it was for the PM and his company. ha.
Shan tried to take a picture of the PM but failed lol. she was so disappointed. hahaha. but her actions when going around trying to take his picture was funny hahaha.
met Peng after that and we sent Shan off at the bus stop.
we sort of went for a night date all round amk and visited his previous block. it was near Deyi Sec and Teck Ghee Pri. we then walked under the mrt track. the place was just so nice and cooling ! maybe cause of the weather too, it was slightly drizzling. but it was a nice and quiet place to just enjoy the night breeze. totally wouldn't mind going there again.
went for supper at burger king lol (and i said i wanted to eat clean but i can't resist the onion rings)
daddy came to fetch me after that. sigh and that was the end of our late-night stroll hahaha.
yesterday was the day where exactly one whole month have passed from the day we first held hands at his house. so it was somehow sort of special cause it was our very first close contact then. couldn't meet up cause i've got my room to clean and after that i had to go to popo's house.
technically i'm supposed to meet him later, either in the morning or afternoon depending on the time i wake up.
but he's so annoying lor ! we were initially chatting nicely on whatsapp and then we started saying things we don't mean. he said he initially wanted me to stick to him but now he doesn't want it anymore. so fine, i said i took back what i said about sticking to him 24/7.
then he told me not to get close to him. whoa, i sort of got a lil angry and said we shouldn't meet today then. argh.
and i'm the kind who's super prideful and i'm not gonna take back what i said. tsk Leos.
but for this once. i'm gonna initiate the conversation la. maybe after publishing this entry.
but why is he so annoying !!!!! argh 气死我了。

Yesterday's and Today ;)
current timecheck, 3:03AM ! and yessss i moved my lazy ass to get the laptop and plugged in the power source and switched it on and logged in twice and now i'm here. yay clap for me please i spent so much effort.
right now i'm in a super comfy position with my pillow as my backrest and my piggy sitting right beside me. life feels kinda great right now heh heh.
since its already 3am plus and today's 01/12/13 (omg first day of the last month of the year 2013), i'll refer 30/11/13 as yesterday (logically speaking i SHOULD do that but whatever)
so yesterday i went to ITE College Central. been there to eat a few times but i have never really walked round the whole compound before. its so beautiful and nicely designed i swear.
there's even a koi pond ! omgosh. and the whole place's really really clean and i love clean places. there's much greenery too so its pretty nice to look at. round of applause for the designer who designed the whole campus layout.
went there for Oriental Melodies 2013. apparently its something related to the arts troupe of Kebun Baru CC, which is where Jas's mummy works and is a staff there and the organiser for the event.
was a lil bit surprised when i saw the people in the chinese orchestra group. most of them were senior citizens. but they played really well, can be said that they were even better than those that i have heard before.
quite a few Chinese ladies were the opera singing one and the one playing the piano and erhu.
ok so late night blogging isn't exactly great cause i keep falling asleep. i'll save the things for another entry.
anyway, today marks the day where its been one month since the day we first held hands ;)
